Just because Christmas and New Year are now over, that by no means we should take this as a hint to dress down. There are still arrays of parties and events to attend to! However after the festive season some of us may be feeling the squeeze. This squeeze will most likely occur around both the waistline and the bank balance.

Instead of going all out and buying a brand new frock for an up and coming evening out, why not re-vamp an old one! Every one owns a statement little black number and dressing something simple up can make it look like a whole new outfit!

Buy into a few new accessories rather than a whole new outfit and dress anything simple and subtle up! Think statement chandelier earrings, cute sparkly bags, elegant hair accessories and embellished heels. All of these accessories will cost you a lot less than a whole new outfit yet will make some old look re-vamped and new!

Belts are also a great way of adding something a little different to your outfit and will work to break it up.

You may be wishing you had invested in a gym pass, however this is a great expense that many people often don’t have the time to use! With both work commitments and hectic home schedules, making time for the gym can be a rare treat. There are however much less expensive ways to get in shape. These include the likes of cleaning, dancing, exercise videos and walking.
