Curves Abound
Well, curvy for models, but it’s a start! There were actually girls with hips and bums at this years show but don’t get your hopes up that this will stay. Most designers seem to be gay men after all.
Oswald Boateng
Celebrating twenty five years in fashion, Boateng’s show was held in the Odeon Cinema and was the performance of a lifetime. Over one hundred models of all shapes and sizes modelled his latest collection for an audience of journalists, stylists, dedicated followers of fashion and the odd curious passer-by.
Florals
They’re still here. The just-shot-the-sofa look is still going strong with light summer colours being the favourite along with feminine floaty designs like off the shoulder and chiffon skirts. The fact that autumn/winter is coming is seems to have escaped notice.
